BIG NOTE - you can only take pictures in the app and you cant switch the filters, you have to take it with the actual filture on it. I just bought it a minute ago and Ive already taken it off my phone as other apps I have will allow me to do everything this will and more. if you want to be restricted it what you do, and some people do which is fine, then buy this. if you want to be able to change what you want and have freedom then DONT BUY THIS

Why cant I change filter after shooting? Why cant I apply filter to existing photo? Why cant I just delete this app? And, I wonder why I bought this app. Its too annoying to use. Im waiting for 2.0. This version is TERRIBLE.

I like this app because you turn it on and shoot in random mode. You never know what it will look like and that is half the fun. You dont have alot of control, but thats the point. Fun App!

I love the images from this app. However, like the iPhone camera you have to press a tiny button to take a picture. Just make the whole screen the button! That would make it much easier to take pictures when you holding the camera over your head or of yourself. Also, once you take a photo and go back to the camera you cant view your photos without exiting the app. It would be nice if there was a photo browser built in if only for the toy camera photos it would be nice. If there was an option to "auto apply" effects. I can delete the photo if I dont like it, dont ask me to apply the effect. Just icing on the cake, but if the effects were a little faster that would be fine by me. These problems are small. Buy this app the photos that come out of it are beautiful. To those complaining that you cant add effects to old photos or choose your effect are missing the point of the app. This mimics a toy camera, like a holga or any cheap camera you dont know how the picture is going to turn out. You get what you get thats the fun of it. . This is a toy camera simulator not an image editor.

Why have a link to facebook if you wont take friend requests?

I use this app daily and LOVE it. Ive paid loads of money for a short list of camera apps I never use. But Id buy this one over and over - if I had to - no question.

This is perhaps one of the simplest apps in the app store, yet it does exactly what it advertises.

Love the new update with Twitter! Awesome application it puts a little more reality in my reality:) please add a proper Polaroid frame instead of just a white box!

Ive read a lot of reviews that complain of not being to apply filters to existing images but that is not the purpose of this app. Like a true holga, you dont know what youre getting until the picture is taken. This is one of my top 5 most used apps on my phone. I no longer use the regular camera at all. The effects are very cool and make ordinary images beautiful. I love that I can set my preferred filter and not worry about resetting them everytime its launched. Fantastic app!

I dont have any idea who this guy is but, he is doing a very good job. Everything on these apps (he has more, if you havent looked) are solid like stainless steel, even the icons and graphics seem to have something the other apps lack. These apps all do what they claim to do, without a hitch. Their simplicity is clearly their strength and purpose.

My favorite app thus far. I love the Holga-like effects so much that I dont even bother with the default camera. Creates fantastic cool images and works flawlessly for me so far. I also appreciate that if you dont like your shot (before its processed into an effect) it lets you retake it. All in all a nicely executed, fun app!

It saves at 1.9 megapixel always. If you have a 3GS, it cannot save in the full 3.2MP res.

Im huge into photography apps on my iPhone and I really like this one. I like how it transforms my photos right in front of my eyes. Sometimes I dont like the first result but its a really nifty app to have.

It wont open and when it does, it closes again. I havent even been able to use it once!

For the same price you can get a far superior app! I bought this and thought is was ok until I bought Hipstamatic. It has the same effects as this one plus more. And the ones they do have the same are better quality too. Not to mention Hipstamatic isnt random! Please go read the reviews for Hipstamatic before you buy this and waste your $ like I did!

I enjoy quite a number of vintage style photo apps. Although some are more featured, I find myself coming back to toy camera consistently. I do love hipstamatic for the interface, but these filters are just better. I play around with others, but I never regret using Toy Camera.

I just bought this for my iPod touch and it wont work, it goes back to the main screen.

I admit it. I dont use a lot of the apps that I buy. However, I use Toy Camera more than any app combined. I love the random effects. I like to be surprised by what comes out. Many of my best photos were taken with this app. Love it. And Ive been into photography for 35 years.

Love QuadCamera. I wish you could make a version of ToyCamera with the same interface and speed as QuadCamera. Or have an option that just takes the photo and applies the effect, no waiting to ask use and process. It just does it all and prepares the next shot. Then it really would feel like a ToyCamera of fast instant fun. Thank you for your great work.

Toy Camera was one of the first photo apps i bought for my iPhone and after investing in many many more, i find that Toy Camera just might be my favorite of them all. Its simple, elegant, and most importantly it takes amazing photos. Other photo apps Can be great but most require a certain degree of tweaking on an almost per-photo basis and this is just fine when you feel like being in "Photography Mode" but, what about just an all-round fantastic camera that adds just a level of enhancing magic to pretty much Every snap you might take? thats Toy Camera. 5 Stars.
